To say I’m always on the hunt for the next best shoe may be a slight understatement. My wardrobe is built from the bottom up. Let me explain, I style my outfits beginning with my shoes. I good pair of shoes can take an average outfit and make it great one. Maybe this explains the insane amount of shoes I’ve accumulated over the years, lol. On a positive note, this endless search has led me to a sneaker brand I need to tell you more about… GREATS.
THE ROYALE (even my dog dig them)
Founders Ryan Babenzien and Jon Buscemi (now owner of Buscemi) founded the idea for GREATS in 2007. But it wasn’t until 2013 that their vision became a reality. They decided to change the mens shoe market in a very interesting way. They noticed there were no brands selling high end mens shoes direct to consumers. After an extremely successful first launch, virtually selling every model in just 90 days, they realized this formula was a winning one. Thus, the first Brooklyn based shoe company was born.
The team at GREATS passion for their city and dedication to bring the highest quality shoes as the most affordable prices, direct to consumers has certainly gained some attention in the sneaker community. I’m truly impressed with the quality of the shoes. I’ve been wearing ‘The Royal’ for about a week, the leather is extremely soft while the shoe maintains a very sturdy well crafted structure.

Premium Collection – The Royale
This style will carry you all summer long. You can rock these with a suit during the week and shorts on the weekend. Also a big fan of the perforated leather. And to be very honest… at less then half the price of the competitors, killer deal for these!!
The Wooster is also a killer style. As slip-ons are a staple in my summer wardrobe, these will make for a great addition to my summer rotation. PS – great colour!

GREATS hasn’t forgotten about the female in your life. I love the Royale for women, this ‘blush mono’ colourway is so dope! My wife would totally be rocking these with summer dresses this season. hint hint… get your girl a pair of these gentlemen… thank me later.

For me, I love the minimalistic design and quality of these shoes. Everybody needs an everyday versatile pair of shoes. GREATS not only offers all that, they haven’t sacrificed on quality.
