To begin, let me tell you what I have cookin’. For those of you that don’t know, I’m a huge watch lover. I have a modest collection myself and not only do I enjoy wearing watches but also love learning about them. About 4 years ago when I was looking for a special gift for my wife I stumbled upon Beverly Hills Watch. I truly enjoyed every bit of the experience and I’ve purchased a total of 3 watches from them over the past couple of years. I’ve teamed up with my friends (and a store I personally shop with) at Beverly Hills Watch, to show you some amazing watches over the next couple weeks.
Each week I’ll wear a new watch. I’ll get a feel for what I like, dislike, then give you a rundown right here, on my blog… stay tuned for some great pieces and fun reviews, and to learn more about Beverly Hills Watch.
Just to be clear, I’m no horologist, these are my personal opinions and I hope they can help guide you on your next watch purchase. I love nothing more then a beautiful watch to compliment a great outfit and vice-versa
The first week with Beverly Hills Watch and we are starting off strong! I’ve been rocking the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore (42mm stainless steel – Black dial). Damn this watch is SICK!
The last watch I purchased (from Beverly Hills Watch), was an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak. The Royal Oak is a slimmer watch, still 42mm, but I was excited to see how the thicker face of the Royal Oak Offshore felt to wear (see my comparison pic for you below). While wearing the Offshore to my surprise- I didn’t really notice the heavier weight! I attribute this to the well designed band which supports it…
With AP, they have the nicest steel bands out there and this one holds up to that reputation. I know many people prefer rubber straps. I won’t lie, I have a lot of rubber straps and they are super comfortable. But, there is something so timeless about a metal band. The way AP has designed their band makes them extremely comfortable and they really hold the weight of the watch well.
Here are some close up shots of the watch and more details.
The chronographic features definitely take this watch to the next level. Even though there is a lot going on in the face, the bold numbers and contrasting black and white gives this piece a sleek simplistic look. I love that the crown was done is rubber.
This watch is from 2008. Its “previously enjoyed” and all of the details and price are here

Why you have to shop @ Beverly Hills Watch… Beverly Hills Watch has been around since 1979. The sell both new and used watches. It’s easy to shop around for watches online, but you don’t always know what your getting. The “previously enjoyed” division of Beverly Hills Watch is a little different then your average online shop. Watches brought in on trade from current clients who purchased the watch from them in the past means they have the proper pedigree with all these watches. All new clients who are trading watches go through a very thorough verification process so you can be certain you are getting exactly what you are paying for.
