One of the best things about working with Previously Enjoyed and Beverly Hills Watch is that I’m exposed to different brands. I don’t pretend to be a watch know-it-all on here. I have a lot to learn. The brands I tend to know about are the ones we all hear about; Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, and Hublot. LEt me be 100% clear… I love all the brands and I’m fortunate enough to have almost all of them in my collection. But, there is something refreshing about learning about a not so common company making amazing timepieces. Enter Graham, a company that been making watches since 1695. Let’s take a look at the watch Previously Enjoyed set me up to wear this past week.
The watch is the Graham “Chronofighter Oversize Automatic Chronograph Black Dial Green Techno Fabric Men’s Watch”. Quite the mouthful if I don’t say so myself. Let’s have a look at what I’m going to be talking about.
This watch isn’t for the subtle or faint of heart. This watch is a beast! The case size is 47mm, but that doesn’t account for the crown. I’m not exactly sure what the name is for the “trigger” that goes outside the crown, but it protrudes outside the actual crown. You’re probably wondering what it’s purpose is? It actually activates the Chronograph feature. It was originally designed for fighter pilots. These pilots needed to keep precise time but typically had gloves on. This large trigger made it easier for them to activate (use). It’s also on the left side of the watch, which is different then your typical watch. It took me a couple minutes to get used to the size of what I was wearing, but certainly added a punch to my outfits this week.
Some features I think worth highlighting are; this Graham watch from Previously Enjoyed has a black PVD stainless steel case with a green techno fabric strap. The bezel is ceramic and boosts a Chronograph with two sub-dials displaying 60 seconds and 30 minutes. It’s an automatic movement with a 48 hour reserve and is water resistant up to 100 meters. If you’re into specs, this watch checks most boxes.
Another huge plus is the pricetag. This Graham watch retails for $6,900, well below comparable watches from other brands. It was a new addition to their Previously Enjoyed department and brand new to Beverly Hills Watch, hasn’t even been listed on their website. Please enquire here
To summarize, this watch from Graham is very cool. If you’re looking for something to make a statement, this watch is a good option. It looks different and certainly catches peoples attention and is a great conversation starter . If you’re on the smaller scale of wrist size, I may suggest your check out other options from Previously Enjoyed. This was a big watch for me and although I loved the design and aesthetic, it wasn’t just something I would throw on for daily use. I’ll keep your updated on new pieces and reviews, please stay tuned.
