WOW… I can hardly believe it’s been a year since I starting my “Trendstepper” social media accounts. My journey began as a hobby and developed into something I’m becoming very proud of. I’ve learned a ton about social media, fashion ,and most importantly, myself. I thought it was about time to circle back and answer the question that first caused me to create this blog. Why would anyone want to read what I think about fashion and what qualifies me to write a blog? Well… I’m going to at least try and answer what I know up to this point. This post may not be for everyone… so I’m giving you a chance now… quit now or don’t blame me if you don’t like what you read. No… seriously, my post last week has some killer ideas for fall.
I’m overwhelmed with all of your support! Can’t believe I made it to 50k followers.
It was June 2014 when I started an Instagram account I called “trendstepper”. I was looking for a place to share my passion for mens fashion as well as explore my individual style. It didn’t take long before I was hooked. I learned about an entire network of people who share the same interests as me. Instagram has connected me with so many great people that today I can call friends. This journey has been a blast so far and I want to thank all my followers for their continued support. I’m overwhelmed by the amount of people interested in my posts and support I’ve received from most my followers.
In my first blog post, I asked myself and you why on earth you should read my fashion blog. I also asked what qualifies me to write about fashion. If you were hoping for an answers… I still don’t have one for you yet. I feel like everyday I’m learning, being inspired, and growing my knowledge in this fast moving fashion industry. I can only hope you are enjoying my content and being inspired while watching my journey.
I know how busy life can get and for those people that take the time to comment on my instagram posts and send me DM’s, I’m truly grateful that you are taking such an active interest.
I’m looking forward to a very exciting year for myself and my family as we plan a big move to Los Angeles. I’m committed to continue to provide the best quality of Instagram & blog posts that I feel will be useful and interesting to you, the people supporting me. If you ever want to give me feedback please feel free. firstname.lastname@example.org – Kyle
Destressed and layered. This hoodie from c2h4 inspired the look. Love their collection “from the woods” – really edgy and unique pieces.

I’ve got great news for lots of us! The winter season is finally coming to an end, hallelujah! Time to hang up our heavy sweaters, parkas, and boots. It’s been a long and cold winter for so many of us and it time to break out some new outfits. I want to focus this post on four pieces I will be wearing lots of in the coming months; Henleys, distressed denim, slip-on shoes, and jogger style pants and jeans. Another cool day – wearing on of my favourite top coats by Zadig & Voltaire. I wanted to be comfortable today as I’ve got a bit of travelling to do – this sweatshirt is the softest thing ever. I used the gold in my shoes and belt to give the outfit some “pop”.
