Mens Guide to Dressing in the Heat

My favourite way to dress is to layer.  Layering long tees with sweatshirts, mixing flannels with a bomber, and hoodies all the time! But every year this crazy thing happens… it’s called summer! This is my second summer in Los Angeles and let me paint a little picture of you. It is friggin hot! Most days feel similar to hanging out in a sauna… fully clothed. Layering just isn’t an option at this time of year, so let’s find some ways to make summer outfits as fresh as the rest of the year.

My guide to mens footwear this spring + summer

The weather is changing and it’s time again to start thinking about some fresh new kicks to kick up your summer wardrobe. If you ask me, shoes are the backbone to a solid outfit. Shoes are actually the first thing I pick every morning. I build my outfit around my shoes. Get ready to step up your shoe game (see what I did there) One other tip… it’s very important (if your married or have a girlfriend) that you have a pair of shoes in your rotation that they hate. Of course, you have to love these shoes so when you wear them you will feel totally liberated. Or just end up sleeping on the couch…

Dressing with style in wet weather

So here it is. It’s been raining a shit ton as of late and I’m a little tired of pacing around my closet with zero options to stay dry and look good. I mean… I have raincoats I guess, but I look either like a three year old kid who should be jumping in puddles or a professional hiker who should be wearing a helmet. Hence this post. I clearly have a serious problem, I’m not dying or anything, but at least a serious fashion dilemma. I can only imagine this is stressing everyone out as much as me. When I’m not seen wearing my daily outfits on Instagram I can normally be found on the golf course. Golf has been a passion of mine for many years.
